DESCRIPTION.

After holding for 70 minutes due to fog, the aircraft crashed into the sea. The aircraft was 7.5 miles out from Mackay Airport. Aircraft was build in 1959 and had logged 2420 hours and 3396 cycles.

DESCRIPTION.

About 18 km before the centerline of Ankara 03 the aircraft crashed. Probable cause: The aircraft was not flying the correct pattern and was below the approach altitude. The aircraft was manufactured in 1961 and had logged 111 hours and 140 cycles.

DESCRIPTION.

DESCRIPTION.

On approach to Dacca while crossing the runway threshold, the aircraft was hit by gusts. The aircraft stalled and landed heavily. Both wings seperated from the aircraft. The Fokker had logged 7016 hours and 8325 cycles.

DESCRIPTION.

On approach to Malaga the aircraft was flying too high. While correcting this situation the aircraft entered a steep descent and landed heavily, causing the centre section of the wings to fail. The aircraft came to a stop after 400 m skidding on the runway. The Fokker had logged 4707 hours and 3916 cycles.

DESCRIPTION.

On approach to Launceston the aircraft was flying too high trying to avoid turbulance. On final approach there occured a problem with the number 1 engine pitch lock mechanism. The propellor was feathered without applying power to the number 2 engine causing a high rate descent. During go-around the speed dropped below the minimum control speed. When power was applied to the number 2 engine the left wing dropped and struck the ground. The fire after the crash was extinguished quickly.The Fokker had logged 7500 hours and 8011 cycles.

DESCRIPTION.

The aircraft crashed on final approach on a flight from Manilla- Mactan flight. Due to the fact that the CG was aft of the design limit, the aircraft lost controlability at low speed causing a tail down descent. About a mile before the threshold of runway 04 the aircraft crashed. The Fokker had logged 15956 hours and 10195 cycles.
