DESCRIPTION. |
| Flight OS 111 declared an emergency while approaching Munich airport in Germany. The aircraft landed in a with snow covered field approximately 2 km from the airport. The landing gear collapsed and the aircraft ended up on it`s belly. None of the passengers or crew were injured. It appeared that ice impact trays in both engines came loose causing loss of engine power. |
